He was a pioneer in the drought resistant SME seed industry and his work of excellence showing in all regions of Kenya. His  philanthropic pursuit in championing research and small holder farmers extensively contributed to his breakthrough research seed Sawa maize currently serving the dry areas in Kenya. He was indeed a business champion with deep interest in value chain addition to uplift society and the current management together with the whole Dryland Seed Limited team continue with Mr. Ngila’s legacy and vision of providing high quality seeds that meet the farmers’ needs.
